Dear EYE family and beyond,
I am thrilled to let you know that the next EYE Conference will take place in Porto, in September 2026! As a Portuguese engineer, I will not hide that this one feels particularly close to me.
Under the theme "Future Now", this conference is an invitation to reflect and act: the technologies, solutions, and systems our world needs are not a distant prospect, they are being shaped by our generation, right now. Porto, a city that has always balanced a strong sense of identity with a bold outlook on the future, could not be a more fitting host for this conversation.
EYE conferences have always been about more than knowledge exchange. They are about building the kind of cross-border community that gives young engineers the perspective and network to make a real difference. Over four days, you will have the chance to engage with inspiring speakers, take part in workshops and technical visits, connect with fellow engineers from across Europe, and discover the city and Portuguese culture, all in one of the most vibrant and welcoming cities on the continent.
